Boss denies employee’s bereavement leave, schedules "mandatory fun" team event after working hours instead

There's no fun that's as fun as mandatory fun. Especially when you have serious personal concerns that you can't help but let your mind wander off to. When the last thing you want to be doing is spending your evenings putting on a performance tor your boss and coworkers.Really, the words like "compulsory," "mandatory," or even "obligatory" should never be used to describe "fun" unless there's an "is not" in there somewhere.
