When someone is being immature, sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. Dealing with immaturity is not an easy task, especially if it's within your own family. Family drama is easy to come by, especially in the holiday season. It's a clash of personalities all trying to battle it out in the name of togetherness. If there are issues within the family unit, they're bound to come out this time of year. I know the holiday season always makes me a little more aware of my surroundings. It's a time when we're (likely) getting together with the people we grew up with, and this can have various effects on the human psyche, not all of them easy to swallow. That's what was going on in this family, when a national holiday brought out the worst in some of them, and the even worse in others.
