Separatists win Quebec election with pledge to vote on leaving Canada

The separatist Parti Quebecois won provincial elections on Monday with a pledge to organise a referendum on whether the French-speaking province will leave Canada. The victory comes just two weeks ahead of a vote in Alberta, Canada's economic powerhouse, on whether it wants to begin the process of leaving the country.
