Gears Of War: E-Day Roadmap After Launch Is Starting To Take Shape

Gears of War: E-Day looks like it'll be a dark and brutal prequel to the mainline games, but what lies beyond the campaign? Like other games in the series, multiplayer modes will carry Gears of War: E-Day after you've wrapped up a tour of the Emergence Day battlefields, and the game's developer, The Coalition, has some big plans for how it wants to support its various online modes after launch. While it hasn't gone into too much detail yet, The Coalition has confirmed that a seasonal roadmap will be revealed closer to launch. One part of the multiplayer suite that is getting a lot of attention is Horde Siege, The Coalition's new spin on classic Horde mode action. This is where teams will take on waves of Locust forces, with up to 12 players split across three squads pursuing objectives. According to the developers, Horde Siege will be updated with new classes, maps, missions, modifiers, and seasonal content, such as limited-time events like Trick or Treat mode during the Halloween Event, as part of the broader post-launch plans for Gears of War: E-Day.
