Source: Jets rookie WR Cooper Jr. placed on IR with sprained ankle

Jets rookie wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr., one of three first-round picks, was placed on injured reserve Saturday with a sprained ankle, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
